Michael Galeotti was raised in Long Island and spent most of his life alongside his parents, but their identities remain a mystery. Michael was an American by nationality, and his ethnicity was White Caucasian. His educational background has not been revealed.
Michael Galeotti started his career as an actor in 2004, when he was cast in the comedy series “The Jersey”, aired on the Disney Channel, and based on Gordon Korman’s book series entitled “Monday Night Football Club”. During the same year, Michael joined the indie rock band ‘Enation’, alongside Amber Sweeney.
The band was formed by Jonathan Jackson and Richard Lee Jackson back in 2003 in Battle Ground, Washington, while other members were Jonathan Thatcher and Daniel Sweatt. Michael played keyboards and stayed with the band until 2012. In 2004, ‘Enation’ released their independent debut album, entitled “Identity Theft”, after which they issued two more independent albums, “Where The Fire Starts” and “Soul & Story: Volume One” in 2007. Michael Galeotti and Bethany Joy Lenz met for the first time in December 2005, and after dating for less than a month, the couple exchanged their wedding vows in a ceremony on 31 December. Bethany gave birth to their only child, a daughter named Maria Rose Galeotti, on 23 February 2011. Unfortunately, they soon went their separate ways, and eventually divorced in March 2012, but remained close friends in order to raise their daughter together.
Cause of Death
Following the divorce from Bethany, Michael Galeotti became an alcoholic; he was even arrested several times for driving under the influence (DUI).
Moreover, he started facing a number of serious health issues, including high cholesterol, diverticulitis, and hypertension. At the beginning of January 2016, Michael was held in hospital for some time, but was released on his own cognizance. After that, he didn’t care about his health at all, and neglected the doctor’s advice which cost him his life. Michael was found dead in his apartment on 11 January 2016 by his friend who came to check on what was going on, because Michael didn’t answer his calls. According to the autopsy, the cause of his death was atherosclerotic heart disease. He passed away at the age of 31.
